Yet this game is not considered a good game by most, as it more remains in the field of a Sport Simulation instead of being an Arcade Fight game.

Uchi Mata is one of the rare JUDO simulation on Amstrad (if not the only one).

Technically it is not that good : simple graphics and a bit slow animation, limited gameplay and so on.

But its use of "half-circle" or "quarter circle" Joystick movements (as popularised by Street Fighter 2 arcade game) to produce various Judo Moves is somewhat original on CPC, if not unseen elsewhere.

Yet this game is not considered a good game by most.
