Actually not a bad port.
While the sprites are the same as on C64, the backgrounds are more coloured and get better details due to the lack of colour attributes on the Amstrad CPC (and superior palette available).
The Scrolling is quite smooth, the engine manages quite a good amount of sprites, and the game is not particulary slow.
Sounds are a bit disapointing though.
