His contribution to the CPC world was immortalised in the catchphrase "Och, could you change the fockin' colours?" - after several programmers who submitted software to him had their meisterwerks constructively assessed with exactly that phrase. One of the proudest moments of the South Wales [[STS]] scene was when it was explained to Peter that no, the colours in [[ParaDOS]] couldn't be retrospectively changed to his preferred palette. To do so would require an extra byte in the [[RLE]]-encoded screen setup string, hence requiring reassembly of the entire ROM.
